Getting paid

Thirty days after the sale,

Then every month that customer stays. There is no monthly payday to wait on and no invoice to chase — commissions go out as they clear.

Thirty days, then paidEvery TextPost customer gets a 30-day money-back guarantee. The day it closes, your commission is released and in your account within five business days. Every month after that, the same — as each payment clears, you get paid.
That guarantee is what protects your moneyBecause we wait the window out, we never have to reach back into what you have already been paid. A contractor who leaves in month nine simply ends your residual there. Nothing is clawed back, ever.
The one exceptionIf a customer’s bank reverses a payment we already paid you on, that amount comes off your next payment. You will see exactly which customer it came from.
Your residual has no ceilingIt is not capped at twelve months or twenty-four. As long as that contractor keeps paying TextPost, you keep getting paid. If TextPost is ever acquired, your agreement converts it into a twelve-month lump-sum payout.

How does a sale get credited to me?

Through your own referral link. Every rep gets one when they sign up, and any contractor who signs through it is credited to you automatically. There is no form to fill in and nothing to claim after the fact.

How does the $25 one level work?

If you bring another rep into the program through your link, you earn $25 every month on every customer they sign, for as long as that customer stays. It is one level deep — you earn on the reps you personally bring in, and not on anyone they go on to recruit.

When exactly do I get paid?

A commission becomes payable once that customer has passed their 30-day window and their payment has settled. It is paid within five business days of that happening. There is no monthly payday — payments go out as they clear.

Am I an employee?

No. Reps are independent contractors, paid commission only. There is no salary, no draw and no benefits, and you will get a 1099 for what you earn.

Do the contractors pay me directly?

No. TextPost bills the customer and owns the relationship — billing, support and service all run through us. You are paid a commission by TextPost every month that customer stays, so you never chase an invoice.

Is there a territory?

No exclusive territories. There are more invisible contractors in one county than any of us can reach this year.

Can I sell this alongside what I already do?

Yes, and most reps should. It sits naturally next to anything else you sell to home-service businesses, and it is a reason to walk back into accounts you already have.

What am I not allowed to do?

Two things matter most. Do not tell anyone what they will earn — not a figure, not a range, not an example. And do not make claims about the product that are not in the materials we give you. Both are in the rep terms, and both are grounds for ending the agreement.
